Welcome to Gulf Coast Cakes! These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, including custom cake orders, pickup/delivery, and website use. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Orders & Payments
Full payment is required at the time of ordering. We accept standard payment methods as well as Afterpay for eligible orders.
Orders are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed. Once confirmed, the order will be added to our production schedule.

2. Refunds & Cancellations
We do not accept cancellations or offer refunds due to the custom and perishable nature of our products.
In the event a cancellation is absolutely necessary, a store credit may be issued at our discretion. This credit must be used within 30 days of the original order date and is subject to availability.
We are committed to your satisfaction. If there is ever an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery, and we’ll do our best to make it right.

3. Pickup & Delivery
Pickup times must be confirmed in advance. A 15–30 minute grace period is allowed. Missed pickups may require rescheduling based on our availability.
For deliveries, please ensure someone is available to receive the cake at the scheduled time. Gulf Coast Cakes is not responsible for damage to products after delivery or pickup.

4. Designs & Artistic License
We do our best to bring your cake vision to life, but exact replicas of inspiration photos cannot be guaranteed. Slight variations in color, texture, and design may occur due to the nature of handmade creations.

5. Allergy Disclaimer
Our cakes are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens including dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, and nuts. While we do our best to prevent cross-contact, we cannot guarantee allergen-free products.

6. Photos & Marketing
We reserve the right to photograph and share your custom cake designs for promotional purposes on our website and social media. If you do not wish for your order to be shared, please let us know in writing when placing your order.

7. Limitation of Liability
Once your cake leaves our care (either by delivery or pickup), Gulf Coast Cakes is not liable for any damage, melting, or mishandling. Please store cakes in a cool, flat, shaded area until ready to serve.

8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. By ordering from Gulf Coast Cakes, you agree to these terms.
